President's Message


Welcome to the website of La Jolla Youth Baseball.  Since 1952 the purpose of our organization has been to help young people develop into better adults and assist them in learning to play and enjoy the game of baseball.  It is the policy of our organization to conduct its activities in a manner that will improve the physical and moral welfare of the players that participate in our leagues.

 
Our organization would not be successful without the continued efforts of numerous parent volunteers.  Whether managing or coaching a team, acting as a Team Mom or seeking out donations and sponsorships from our community, I would like to encourage all parents to be actively involved in our league so as to enhance the experience for the benefit of everyone.  Please be sure to take time to thank the managers, coaches and Team Mom's for their dedication and hard work that enable our children to enjoy the game of baseball.

In addition to the numerous families that have donated generously to our organization over the years, La Jolla Youth Baseball has been the beneficiary of significant corporate and institutional sponsorship.  If you or someone you know would like to be a sponsor of our organization or make a donation, please view the Sponsors section on our website and proceed accordingly. Your continued generosity is vital for the maintenance of our fields and operation of our leagues.

As we approach the 2010 season, I want to thank everyone who has contributed their time and effort to our organization over the years.  I encourage your comments and suggestions, and look forward to another successful baseball season in our community.
